About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Solutions Engineer to join our team and serve as a key liaison between our clients and our SaaS platform. In this role, you will utilize your technical expertise to understand client needs, provide tailored solutions, and drive sales opportunities forward. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of our SaaS platform and have a proven track record in sales, enabling them to effectively communicate the value proposition to clients while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary pre-sales technical resource for prospects, providing expert guidance on the functionality and capabilities of our SaaS platform.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and develop customized solutions that address their specific needs.
- Conduct remote and on-site product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our platform, effectively communicating its value proposition to clients.
- Lead technical discussions with prospects, addressing inquiries, concerns, and objections to build confidence in our solution and drive sales forward.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development and customer success, to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support for clients.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge and enhance our solution’s value proposition.
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on client interactions and market insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with the sales team as the primary technical resource for RFI and RFP responses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a technical sales or solutions engineering role, preferably within the SaaS and Life Sciences industry.
- Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, cloud computing, and related technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand client needs and develop creative solutions.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for technology and driving business results.
