Hiring Engineering Manager @ HackerRank

This position is full-time and Remote within the United States.
You will be working on:
- Be both highly technical and an effective people manager
- Execute the product plans and manage delivery commitments
- Mentor the engineers in the team and help them deliver to the best of their abilities
- Set clear career paths for your team members and help every individual pursue their growth path
- Work very closely with the product team to develop and curate the product roadmap
- Own and drive the tech roadmap. Manage the day to day activities of the team within the scrum framework
We are looking for:
- 2+ years of engineering management, including hands-on technical management
- Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management
- 8+ years of experience in designing enterprise systems, building highly-available, scalable, fault-tolerant, secure, distributed systems
- Self driven, initiative taker with good communication skills, ability to hire, lead and mentor technical teams, meet deadlines, manage stakeholder expectations
- Technical expertise in NodeJS, Ruby, React, Lambda, micro-services, Authentication, Authorization etc.

Current base salary range: $180,000 - $210,000. The exact salary may vary based on skills, experience, location, market ranges, and other compensation offered. Salary range does not include other compensation components, commission (for sales-related roles), bonuses, or benefits that you may be eligible for. Salary may be adjusted based on business needs.
