Job Description
Accumulus is seeking a Director of Information Technology. This will be a key role within the Security Team, reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer.
Starting day one, you will have the unique opportunity to support the growth of Accumulus Synergy by collaborating with leadership to align technology strategies with business objectives, assessing existing systems for improvement opportunities, overseeing hardware and software procurement with adherence to best practices and security protocols, coordinating cross-functional teams for effective project execution, and fulfilling any other assigned responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside leadership to understand business needs and translate them into actionable technology strategies.
- Identify opportunities for technological interventions by evaluating current systems, recommending enhancements, and implementing solutions to increase productivity and reduce operational cost.
- Provide leadership in identifying hardware and software needs and purchases, ensuring consistency across the company while meeting best practices and security guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage direct reports.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience leading teams, driving change, and managing complex projects from inception to implementation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Participate in establishing internal controls for technology service goals
- Contribute to achieving the organization’s financial metrics and profitability targets
- Expert understanding of information technology procedures and practices as well as Microsoft O365, Azure, Sentinel, and Windows operating systems
- Define requirements for new technology implementations, changes to existing technologies, and communicate them to key business stakeholders
- Lead teams that focus on client ticketing, support, monitoring while focusing on improvement and optimization of technical and automated solutions
- Develop processes to analyze root cause and corrective action plans
- Ability to understand process workflows, analyze, and identify improvements
- Define roles and responsibilities within the IT team, recruit, train, and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures for Change Control, Asset Management, Incident Management, and Infrastructure Management
